The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University signed Memorandum of Understanding with CII-Yi on 7th June 2024. Mr. Gaurav Goel, Yuva Chair, and Ms. Sonal N. More, Chair of Yi Bhubaneswar, along with other representatives from CII-Yi, were present for the signing. Representing KISS-DU, were Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Prashanta Kumar Routray, Registrar, and other staff members.

Young Indians (Yi) is an initiative integral to the CII, aimed at providing a platform for young Indians to contribute to the nation’s development. With over 6250 direct members in 66 city chapters and an indirect membership of over 210,000 through its Yuva Program, Yi is a significant force for youth engagement.

This MoU opens doors for KISS students to join the Yi Yuva platform, engaging them in various initiatives nationwide. Students will have the opportunity to conceptualize, plan, and execute projects, fostering leadership skills and contributing to national development. Through cross-functional teamwork, students will spearhead projects focused on self-development, skill-building, community service, and nation-building.
