The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University (KISS-DU), Bhubaneswar signed a Statement of Shared Interest (SSI) with the Bronx Community College of the City University, New York (CUNY) on 24th September 2022 to memoralise their mutual intention to promote collaborative academic opportunities between the instituions. Both the parties intent to develop educational cooperation and to promote relations. This includes academic collaboration, exchange of students and faculty, summer schools and faculty led programmes, and joint research programmes, joint conferences; seminars and exhibitions.
As a part of the SSI signed, Professor Neal Phillip, Department Chair and Professor, Department of Chemistry, Earth Science and Environmental Sciences (CUNY Bronx Community College), New York delivered a joint presentation with Professor Paramita Sen, Department of Chemistry, Earth Science and Environmental Sciences on ‘Climate Change’.
Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KISS-DU delivered the Welcome Address, Hon’ble President of CUNY Dr. Thomas A. Isekenegbe addressed the gathering, and the Closing Remarks were delivered by Hon’ble Founder KISS & KIIT, Dr. Achyuta Samanta. Dr. Prashanta Kumar Routray, Registrar, KISS-DU proposed a Vote of Thanks.
