KISS Deemed to be University (KISS-DU), Bhubaneswar, inked MoU with the Netaji Subhas University (NSU), Jamshedpur, on 18th July 2023. The key areas of collaboration in this new alliance includes joint research and publications, students and staff exchange programmes, undertaking academic and research work on issues related to socio-economic exclusions, deprivations and inclusive growth of tribal and other backward communities, Dalit literature and culture, provide laboratory, academic and research facilities as well as infrastructure, provide mentor advice to propel research, growth activities and identification of areas of
possible mutual academic and research and dissemination of any collaborative and collective activity by the staff and students.
Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KISS-DU and Professor Gangadhar Panda, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Netaji Subhas University, signed the document in the presence of Dr. Prashanta Kumar Routray, Registrar and other senior functionaries from KISS-DU. Post the signing ceremony, an interaction session was organized wherein Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Netaji Subhas University interacted with the students and research scholars of the Sanskrit Programme, School of Comparative Tribal Languages and Literatures, KISS-DU.
He spoke about Guru Parampara in Indian Knowledge System and discussed 18 Vidyas in Sanskrit.
The meeting concluded with a Vote of Thanks to all present.
