An Interaction meet between Research scholars and International Delegates from Tel-Hai College and Avondale University was held at KISS-DU on 28th January 2023. The meeting was attended by overseas dignitaries, senior functionaries of KISS-DU, faculty members, and research scholars from the Psychology Programme, School of Tribal Heritage, and Tribal Indology.
In his Welcome Address, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor briefed about the organization. He shared the vision of Hon’ble Founder, KIIT, and KISS Professor Achyuta Samanta and how the organization focuses on teaching practices, research activities, life skill development, entrepreneurship skills, Sports, and innovations in KISS and KISS-DU. He emphasized the holistic approach to student development as the main forte of KISS-DU.
Mr. Apratim Tiwari, Assistant Director, delivered a presentation on some of the milestones achieved by KISS-DU and highlighted the Vision and Mission of the University. Discussions regarding the prospects of research and multidisciplinary approach in research was carried out, and areas of collective and collaborative work were explored. Scholars also interacted with delegates and discussed research advancement in various domains.
Delegates shared their experience of interacting with Scholars and Senior Functionaries. They acknowledged the work and contributions made by the organization towards uplifting Tribals and society. The meeting formally ended with Dr. Prashanta Kumar Routray, Registrar, KISS-DU, thanking the delegates for their kind presence and gracing the event.
