Miss.Geeta Bhuyan, +3 1st yr Arts student of KISS has been back to home on 15th Sept. after successful participation in India team in “Women Baseball World Cup 2016” at Gijang, South Korea from 3rd to 11th September 2016.
In total, 12 number of countries participated in Women Baseball World Cup : India, pakistan, Japan, Canada, Netherland, Hongkong, Cuba, USA, Venezula, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Korea.
India Won against Pakistan in 6th round with 19-1 set and ranked 11th in the tournament. Other rounds India team played against Netherland, Canada, Japan, Hongkong, Cuba, USA.
In the finals, Japan won against Canada and became the Champion.
Miss.Geeta Bhuyan of KISS has been awarded with the best player award in the Women World Cup which is an remarkable achievement for India as well for KIIT & KISS.
Dr.Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS has given rousing welcome to the bright student of KISS with a flower bouquet as token of Love and appreciation.
