KISS-DU Scholars will 1st Runners Up in the Open Boot Camp organized by KIIT TBI

Open (Odisha Pitching cum Entrepreneurship) Boot Camp 1.0 was organized by KIIT TBI on 26th October 2022 in association with Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster, an initiative of the office of PSA to Govt. of India with the support of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Odisha. This was a three months engagement programme with 20+ road shows, reached out to 1500 young minds of Odisha, received 345 applications and 50 teams were selected for 2 months of accelerator programme, out of which top 15 teams were selected for pitching in front of a Jury Panel and top 5 were awarded with cash prizes and 6-month complimentary incubation at KIIT TBI. Shri Ashok C Panda, Hon’ble Minister of S&T Odisha distributed the awards in the presence of Smt. Puja Mishra, Joint Secretary S&T, Govt. of Odisha.

Representing the Centre for Indigenous Innovation and Entrepreneurship, KISS-DU Bikram Biruli and Sujit Bandia, PhD Scholars who pitched their innovative idea in the field of Digital Entrepreneurship bagged the 1^st Runners Up Prize.

Such platforms will create the next generation entrepreneurs from Odisha and KIIT TBI will work with them to take things to the next level.
