Our celebrations on the occasion of the “International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples” included cultural events performed by KISS Students.
10 junior students performed a welcome dance (Ama Adivasi Dina) while our senior students performed songs in tribal languages (Ame Adivasi in Santali language and Lanjia Saura language) expressing their gratitude to our Founder, Dr. Samanta (KIIT & KISS) for his dedication to Odisha’s indigenous community. Some senior college students also made short speeches to the student body about the importance and relevance of the day for indigenous people worldwide
