The Training and Placement Cell, KISS-DU organized a Capacity Building Workshop on Soft Skills and Career Readiness for the students and alumni on 10th August 2022. Dr. Kaish Q. Khan, Assistant Professor – II, KIIT School of Management, KIIT Deemed to be University was invited as the resource person for the Workshop. As a part of the alumni engagement, the event was organized in a blended mode so that the Alumni can also draw benefit from this interactive session along with the Post Graduate students of KISS-DU.
In a very motivating speech, Dr. Kaish Q. Khan gave tips for a soaring career. He explained the importance of Soft Skills to the students and how it can be beneficial in personal, social and official life. Dr. Khan discussed the various paraphernalia of Soft Skills including Body Language and Spoken Communication. The thrust area of the lecture was interview skills and how to survive and rise in the job market where there is cutthroat competition. Furthermore, he touched upon the kind of skills set demanded by various jobs and ways to maintain work and life balance.
Dr. Kanhu Charan Mahali, Advisor, Training and Placement Cell, KISS-DU also spoke on the occasion and encouraged the students.
