Dr. Manjulata Hansdah, shares the credit of being the 2nd scholar from Education Programme and 4th scholar from KISS-DU to complete Ph.D. from KISS Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. Her topic was ‘Attitude of Students towards the Functioning of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) for the Holistic Development of Tribal Students’. Dr. Hansdah completed her research under the supervision of Dr. Sujata Acharya, Associate Professor and Head of Education Programme, KISS-DU and her external examiner was Professor Sujeet Kumar Mishra, Guru Ghasidas Viswavidyalaya, Central University, Bilaspur, Chhatisgarh.
Dr. Manjulata Hansdah is currently a Faculty of Education in KISS College and a Santali News Reader and Anchor in Kalinga TV. She hails from Santal Tribe, Village/P.O.-Dhanghera, Block- Khunta, P.S.- Udala, Mayurbhanj District and She has been studying in KISS since 2006. She was a Rugby Player (Under 14) and a Life Skills Education Peer Educator under UNFPA Project.
