The NSS Bureau, KISS-DU observed the NSS Foundation Day on 24th September 2024. The day was marked by a pledge taking ceremony which focused on Swachhata Hi Seva.
The Programme Officer, Ms Maitri Padhi addressed the students and emphasized on the importance of cleanliness and concept of swachhata as a fundamental value of our society. Further, she also discussed the significance of sanskar swachhata and encouraged the students to imbibe and adopt these values in their daily lives.
The event received enthusiastic participation from volunteers who pledged to uphold the principles of cleanliness and contribute to a cleaner environment. The atmosphere was filled with a shared commitment to foster a culture of hygiene and social responsibility. Through this programme, the NSS Bureau aims to inspire a generation dedicated to making cleanliness a priority reinforcing the idea that every individual can contribute to a healthier and cleaner society.
