The Library of the KISS Deemed to be University organized, User Awareness Training Session for Post Graduate Students, Research Scholars, and Faculty Members from 30th August to 19th September 2022.
The Session comprised 19 hours of training for 508 users from 22 Programmes. The training session included various aspects of the offline and online resources available in the library, and how the users can draw benefits from the same. The process of searching the IP based online resources are available from the website of the KISS-DU i.e: e-journals and e-database (Indiastat) and the e-resources available on National Digital Library and e-PG Pathshala portal of INFLIBNET.
The Resource Persons: Mr. Rabin Kumar Khandayatray, Chief Librarian and Mr. Kalandi Charan Swain, Assistant Chief Librarian, KISS-DU talked about the procedure of searching and downloading the resources available in these online platforms. While addressing the questions by the participants, Dr. Krupasindhu Nayak, In-Charge, Library Committee urged the participants to draw maximum benefits from the available resources and requested the Programme Heads to motivate the students to use the library on a regular basis.
The Library Committee is extremely grateful to the Deans, Faculty, Programme Heads and the IT team for their support and the User Awareness Programme was successfully organized under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KISS-DU Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Registrar Dr. Prashanta Kumar Routray and other Senior Functionaries.
