An ‘Orientation Session’ on UPSC-IAS Exam Training for KISS students was held over ZOOM Platform on 18th December 2020 for identified KISS students in collaboration with TICS, Kolkata. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Saranjit Singh, Director, Industry Engagement Cell, KIIT-DU. The training programme for UPSC-Civil Services for the KISS students has been devised as per the advice of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS under the guidance of Dr. Prashant Kumar Routray, CEO-KISS-cum-Registrar, KISS-DU.
Interacting with the students, Mr. Parampreet Singh (Subject Matter Expert) explained various aspects of IAS Examination conducted by the UPSC. Mr Atri Sekhar (CEO, TICS – Kolkata) provided an overview on the program. Dr. Priyadarshi Biswal (Dean, CAAS) placed the welcome address, while Dr Saranjit Singh set the context of the webinar. Dr. Prashant Routray provided a brief introduction on KISS. Dr. Chinmaya Das, Director (Admin.) spoke on Advanced Skill Initiatives. Dr. Deepak Raut, Program Head proposed the vote of thanks.
